Types of Gardafue Freeport Licenses:
- Freeport operator’s license, issued to companies renting out logistics from third-party developers to carry out their Freeport activities
- Freeport private developer’s license, issued to companies that have built and manage their own logistics facilities to carry out their Freeport activities
- Third-party developer’s license, issued to companies that have built and manage logistics facilities for renting to Freeport operators.
These Freeport licenses are valid for a period of one year and renewable thereafter. The renewal is automatic, provided the company has carried out a certain agreed-upon level of business in the Freeport. A single Freeport operator’s license is required for operation at both the port and airport free zones.
