the objectives of the Free Zone Seaport are:

1. To create income for Somali people and the Government as well through prviding employment and income tax.
2. To provide required skills through training and practical activities.
3. To enhance trade with other countries by increased export and import of goods.
4. To develop Somali trade by exploiting local resources
5. To handle and facilitate trans-shipment of goods so as to distribute goods to African, Middle East and European countries
